These little guys would make a great gift! They are called BrassBat. They are made in the USA right here in Utah. They are made of solid brass so they have some weight to them. I have a few of these for zipper pulls but you can give them as a keychain or whatever! They are durable and look pretty cool too! With Baseball season starting soon check out their website and order one! Like them on Facebook!
2010 ushered in a new design philosophy for Hyundai with their game changing "fluidic designed" vehicles. Now for 2013-14 it is time to update some of the beautiful vehicles. But how do you make an already stunning design and value packed vehicle better? Add more features, improve quality, and tweak the exterior is the answer Hyundai came up with. Check out this new 2014 Hyundai Tucson image Hyundai just revealed. Interior appointments should be improved with more soft touch plastics (possibly from recycled volcanic ash like the Elantra), possible cooled seats, premium leather, Driver selectable steering, and possible gathered leather like the 2014 Sonata update. Exterior design changes appear to be found in the headlights with added LED accents and square projector lights (like the Santa Fe), new fog lights, and a roof rack available for the panoramic sunroof. What are you thoughts?
In Europe Hyundai has a different branding of their vehicles. The Elantra GT is called the i30, the Sonata the i40, and the SUVs are all iX monikers. The i20 is in the Ford Fiesta and Mazda2 class but boasts fluidic sculpture design. The i20 probably will never make it over to the states but WRC fans will think it is awesome! Check out the video.
Check this stuff out! It is a clearbra type material that protects the windshield against rock chips and impacts. This would come in handy with a lot of vehicles and all the construction out there. No more smash and grabs from thieves either!
There are things about buying a car that no one likes but are necessary evils. I
would like to address some common dislikes about dealerships and get some
opinions on what we can do to change.
The Trade-in process is a tricky thing for most consumers and dealers to agree on. NADA, Kelly Blue Book and a handful of other smaller websites attempt to give a little guidance on what vehicles are worth. I have been helping people trade their vehicles for different transportation for over 7 years now and I just have not found their guides to be reliable. It is a daily occurrence that a customer tells me they have looked at the value of their car on one of those websites. The problem with these sites is there is no guarantee of value. They don't buy and sell the cars themselves. Their websites all say, guides, estimates, etc. There is a new website called Autotrader Marketplace however, that will buy cars - they have more accurate values too.
Our first Veloster Turbo has arrived! Hyundai continues to impress me with their turbo technology. I have only taken the car around the block but my first drive has given a great impression. Just like the Sonata the turbo lag is very minimal but the spooling up can still be heard. The exhaust is noticeably louder and the power is very smooth. I was expecting a whiplash ride but was pleased when it felt like a naturally aspirated vehicle with just more power. Awesome car! They are very very limited so if you know someone who wants one let me know.
