Hyundai Overtakes Toyota to Become the Largest Automaker in Europe

Hyundai has set it's sights high and has had Toyota in its cross hairs for the past 4 years in hopes to become the Worlds Largest Automaker. They have just hit a milestone in their quest! Hyundai Motor Group European sales are up 7% selling 521,369 from January to October 2010 -  making it the number one selling automaker in the Europe. Toyota fell 16% selling 511,754 during the same time period.

Hyundai has been projected to reach its goal to be automaker king of the world by 2015. With sales goals surpassed and records broken this is very possible. The Elantra, Sonata, and Tucson being packed with standard features and with their new "Fluidic sculpture" design have made a big impact on the industry and have been a really big hit with consumers.

The Equus luxury sedan has hit showrooms and there is talk of Hyundai branching off it's own luxury marque.

By 2012 Hyundai will have redesigned 90% their entire line up including Azera, Accent, and added new models like the Veloster, and Portico. Fresh sheet metal aside, all new powertrains as well as high fuel economy will no doubt create even more excitement in the future for the Korean automaker. All models come with a 10 year/ 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, 5 year/ 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty, and a 5 year / unlimited roadside assistance package. There is no question with all that value Hyundai is hot right now!
