2013 Hyundai Sonata Revealed

This could possibly be the new 2013 Hyundai Sonata freshening that will take place late next...
year early 2013. This is the i40 sedan which may look similar to it's sister wagon variant from the front - but with all new attitude in the rear. The i40 is the European version of the Sonata. I like the 3rd brake light mounted high on the rear window. Europe loves diesel cars and the diesel motor in the i40 gets almost 55 mpg! The gasoline 2.0 makes 177 hp too! Inside will feature many options we probably wont see in the U.S. like power folding mirrors and a self parking system but we should get a pretty loaded up version with more goodies than the current model Sonata. From looking at the vehicle it has an upscale feel to it looking more inline with a Genesis and Equus which goes along with Hyundai's new theme of "modern luxury". Enjoy the pics and stay tuned for more details.

  1. I think the 2011/2012's look better. I don't like the change in the headlight shape, the front-bumper shaping, and the fog-lights look cheesy/cheap, and belong more on a Veloster or Accent or something...

The tail-light shape themselves ia okay, but I don't like the shaping of the rear bumper.

Adding a stock "diffuser" was a smart choice, but it's incredibly bland and should have some more definition like the aftermarket Korean-based "MOBIS" rear-diffuser found online.

I think the change in body lines makes the car look more like an underachieving Infinity G-series copy-cat.

I don't like it.. Is that clear enough?
