A vehicle is stolen approximately every 45 seconds in the U.S. Many people think that they are safe, don't lock their doors, and even leave their keys in the vehicle. This is asking for trouble. Part of the problem is we think it couldn't happen to us and if it does the thieves will drive it around the block to the grocery store to pick up some milk and get nabbed by the police. Check out this video and make sure you lock your doors!

I know it is a cheap shot and there nothing has been proved that Toyota had anything to do with the uninteded acceleration of it's vehicles these past few years, but regarless of blame Hyundai is doing something to fix it. The Hyundai Sonata has featured a system which cuts the accelerator pedal input off if the brake is applied. Starting this month all Hyundai's in the U.S. will feature Throttle Override. Hyundai will be the first automobile manufacturer to deliver 100% of their vehicles with this life saving device. The NHSTA is rumored to be working on making Throttle Override standard but Hyundai will lead the industry again just as it did with ESC.

It is no secret that Hyundai vehicles are selling faster than they can manufacture. We have been selling cars off the truck coming to deliver the vehicles. Hyundai has announced it will hire almost 900 workers at their world class plant in Montgomery, Alabama. This should help us here on the front lines with inventory and help Hyundai hit 20,000 more units in the U.S. Big wigs at Hyundai have also promised more vehicles assembled in Korea to come to the U.S. which have been focused on exporting to other countries. Both of these moves should steal away more of Nissan, Honda, and Toyota market share and make a lot of dealers and customers happy. Let's get these cars built guys!
