Two new Hyundai concepts have been released prior to unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show in March. They both look to be show stoppers.
The Intrado looks to be a small crossover with Veloster design cues including three door entry. Although sources speculate that the Intrado will be the next fuel cell vehicle design language, we may actually be looking at hints for Hyundai's new small CUV meant to fill a hole in its lineup under the Tucson.
The Intrado could go head to head with the Buick Encore, Nissan Juke, and possible cousin Kia Soul. Either way we are excited for a few weeks from now when we can get more details on powertrain and size.
The PassoCorto is a mid-engine, rear drive platform sports car that looks to place itself to steal Porsche Cayman and Alfa Romeo 4C territory. If that is the case, Hyundai would really be climbing upmarket to maybe gauge how a hotter Genesis Coupe would do. Hyundai powertrains are currently used in the Korean supercar the Spirra and have been performing well.
Who knows what the PassoCorto could end up being but a halo vehicle for Hyundai would be a great idea!
Enjoy the speculation and the pixilation!
